Send your answers in to the Hive and YES Unlimited to be featured on their project in the Westend Plaza

 The Hive Youth Resource Centre

What is homelessness? What does it look like? Who does it happen to?

Homelessness isn't always what it seems, and it can happen to anyone.

It's hard to accurately measure, but it's estimated that 32,000 young people aged 12-25 in Australia.

This is about 1/3 of the total homeless population across the country.

Youth homelessness is commonly unseen
This is because most homeless young people don’t live on the
street - They may be;

- Couch surfing
- Sleeping on floors
- Temporarily staying with someone they know
- Temporarily staying with complete strangers

Where would you go for help if you or someone you knew was suddenly homeless?

You can reach out to your local headspace, or look at some of the resources below.
