Park Larks Youth Festival kicks off Youth Week in Rockdale

Youth Week in Rockdale kicked off on Saturday 11th April 2015 with the Park Larks Youth Festival organised by Rockdale City Council. There were a number of FREE, fun and engaging activities for young people to participate in, including free skate lessons, bike and blend, henna and spray tattoos, laser tag and a mini wildlife park. We were lucky enough to be involved with an information stall and a game of giant jenga, which was a huge hit for all who came along.

Some of our Youth Reference Group members joined us on the day and spoke to many community members about how headspace supports young people. It was great to see a number of local youth and community services coming together to celebrate young people. We had loads of fun and want to thank the local community for their support. We can't wait to do it all again next year!
