Did you know that each year a quarter of all young people in this country will experience mental health issues? We want them to know that help is available and accessible from headspace.
Tuesday 11 October is headspace day, a national day of awareness to ensure that every young person in Australia has access to youth friendly mental health services, no matter where they live.
To celebrate this inaugural day, headspace Ipswich will host an event on the 10 October here at the centre! We invite YOU to come along and share this occasion with us. The theme is Access All Areas, and there will be food, music, speeches and activities.
Everyone is welcome!
When? 10 October 3.30 pm - 7.30 pm
Where? headspace Ipswich (26 East Street, Ipswich)
Why? National headspace day!
If you can't make it- but would still like to acknowledge the day - Drop in to our centre during the week and pick up your very own Access All Areas wristband or visit www.headspaceday.org.au to get hold of one.
Take one step further and snap a pic of you wearing your wristband, then share it on your social networks with the hashtag #headspaceday
