headspace Portland is a free youth-friendly counselling service for young people aged 12-25 years. We can help if you are going through a difficult time, or just want someone to talk to.
We can also support you with referrals to other services if needed, including youth drug and alcohol services, youth homelessness services, family and relationship support and general physical health.
It's ok to feel nervous about getting help. You're welcome to bring along a family member or a friend for support. It can really help to have them involved.

Information about how to obtain a Medicare card see below on Medicare website:
The doctors and counsellors of our clinic bulk-bill Medicare for services provided. This means that you only need to bring your Medicare Card, and if you have one, your healthcare card.
You don’t need a referral to see one of our intake workers. The intake worker will speak to you regarding the services we can offer based on what you need. A mental health treatment plan may need to be created so you can access our ongoing counselling services.
