29TH MAY 2018: RECONCILIATION WALK (10.15-2pm)

headspace is proud to again be participating in this year’s local Reconciliation Walk. We hope you will join us for the walk and activities– including headspace’s drumming circle.

Each year, Council invites local schools and the community to come together for the Queanbeyan Reconciliation Walk to celebrate National Reconciliation Week. The annual Reconciliation Walk is a hugely popular and symbolic event, with community members and more than 1,000 students from schools across the LGA getting together to promote reconciliation, recognise the contribution of Aboriginal people, and highlight the challenges we face to continue to Close the Gap

Walk starts at Queen’s Bridge, Ray Morton Park, Trinculo place at 10.15 for a 10.30 start.

Walk finishes at Reconciliation Garden Queanbeyan park. Walk will be followed by a BBQ, community stalls and a range of activities.

See the flyer for more details.
