headspace Strathpine provides free or low-cost counselling and support services to young people aged 12 to 25 who are going through a tough time.
Our vision is to improve young people's mental, social and emotional wellbeing through the provision of high quality, integrated services when and where they are needed.
We provide a combination of in-person, online & phone services and we have rigorous hygiene and physical distancing measures in place.

headspace Strathpine is operated by Open Minds. All headspace services are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health. Administration of funding is carried out by the headspace centre’s local Primary Health Network, in this case, Brisbane North.
Mental health workers – which may include psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors and other workers – that can help if you're just not feeling yourself.
Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with any alcohol or other drug issue.
Sexual health screenings on site or links to local services.
Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with work or study opportunities.
If you are a young person aged 12-25 enquiring about headspace Strathpine services, you do not require a formal referral, simply give us a call on 07 3465 3000 to make an appointment or drop in and have a chat with one of our admin staff. We are located at 441 Gympie Road, Strathpine.
If you are a friend, family member or carer, you can phone to book an appointment on behalf of a young person but we do request that you discuss this with the young person first to make sure they are happy to come along.
GP, school and service provider referrals
If you are a doctor, school guidance officer, teacher, service provider, or work in a government department, you can provide a written referral on behalf of a young person to attend headspace Strathpine.
