Pottery Project - Bello 9th April (for 18-25 y/o)

FREE pottery workshops in Bellingen
Learn to work with clay and connect to headspace through creativity.
This workshop is for anyone aged 18-25 years old (note: there's another group running on the 23rd of April for those 12-18 years old - find link here: )
When: TUESDAY 9th April
Time: 3:30 - 5:30pm
Where: Bellingen Youth Hub
Who is it for? Anyone aged 18-25 years old - including total beginners
Facilitator: Richilde Flavell from Girl Nomad Ceramics (recently showcased her art exhibition "OK! Motherhood" at YAM Coffs)
Details:
- Choose to roll coils, work on a bigger piece together or enjoy some company while sculpting your own piece!
- All items from the workshop will be fired and then available for pick up a couple of weeks later.
- You will get an air dry clay pack to take home after the workshop.

Making Music - Youth Week April 16th, 17th & 18th
For Youth Week 2024 headspace Coffs is running a songwriting, jamming and recording workshop at Grow the Music!
Join Lizzy (Grow the Music), Angus Field (Gumbaynggirr Singer/Songwriter/Musician) and Josh McGovern (LTTLE KNG) in the studio across three days of songwriting, jamming and recording.
AND we have Jay Black from AND THE TREES on board to film the process.
Dates: Tues 16th April, Wed 17th April & Thurs 18th April (please note you need to be available all 3 days) - first week of NSW school holidays
Time: 11am - 2pm each day, lunch will be provided
Who is it for? Anyone aged 12-25 years old with an interest in music!
Theme: "Resilience - Finding Your Inner Strength"
Details:
Day 1 - Jamming on instruments, brainstorming, learning the techniques of songwriting, beat mining and rapping.
Day 2 - Laying down ideas in the studio, recording instruments, vocals and finding sounds using the beat maker.
Day 3 - Final tracking of parts, overdubbing adds, vocals and production / mixing tracks.

Sonic Sessions at Bello Youth Hub

Lttle Kng’s Sonic Sessions
In collaboration with headspace, Lttle Kng will be hosting a jam arvo for anyone with something to say or something to play, and the courage to do so!
Bring an instrument, your sickest bars; unleash your singing voice or simply hit the dance floor – if it makes noise, its welcome.

More about LTTLE KNG:
Lttle Kng / AKA Josh Matheson, has been producing and releasing music for the latest 12 years. Having worked with producers like Alex Gooden (Safia / Meg Mac) and collaborated
with artists like The Versace Boys, Tanuki & Animal Ventura, his love for creating dope sounds continues to grow.
Now producing for several North Coast based artists, Lttle Kng has also been working with organisations such as Smart Artz and Grow The Music to provide music production and beat making workshops to youth across the coast and hoping to do more of that in the future!
