Murray Mallee General Practice Network

Established in 1995, the Network is an independent, “not for profit”, membership based organisation, incorporated in South Australia under the Associations Incorporation Act 1985. We are governed by a Board of Directors elected by our members.

The Network delivers local health solutions through general practice, addressing gaps in health service provision for people who may have difficulty accessing primary care services.

Initially funded through the Commonwealth Government Divisions of General Practice program, the organisation has evolved to become a primary care service provider for the Country SA PHN and other funders.

Our team is working to ensure that we are able to provide all clients access to our headspace services while we transition through the current health crisis. This poses many challenges and we appreciate that this may be difficult for our clients at the moment.

We’ll be continuing in person sessions by appointment, on a clinical need’s basis currently. Your worker will discuss this with you as we aim to work to maintain physical distancing but achieve social connection and continuance of your sessions. We have additional hygiene and safety measures in place but understand you might feel more comfortable accessing headspace Mount Barker via phone or online and as such we are increasing our capacity to provide service online and over the phone.

We really appreciate our community’s patience and support as we work through this with our clients and staff’s health and safety in mind. If you have any questions or would like to discuss how we’re ensuring client safety at this time, please give us a call to discuss further.
